hi i need help with hooking up my auto meter monster taco to my xr6 just wondering where do i hook the wires up to?

ecu pin 45 = tach signal
ecu pin 71 = +12v ign ecu strap bolt = ground

Why do you need one? Is the standard tacho broken or something?
What sort of pic do you want? If you want to know how to tap into the wires, just google it (ie tapping electrical wires, or similar). I could explain it, but I don't have all night - so many threads to read, so little time!

Sort of off topic, if you like watching your revs you can put your cluster into diagnostic mode. Which in one mode shows your revs and speed digitally.

i got a sliver series monster taco given to me and i want to put it in my car my old one still works but iv mounted this near my shifter it looks really tough i just want it to work and im not sure how to connect it.

You need to remove the ECU, the pins on the outside are numbered so you can count in to the above mentioned pins and tap into the wires. As far as it looking cool, I guess there might be some people that when seeing a monster tacho, mounted next to the still working factory tacho, in a car with an auto, would agree with you.
