Default Easy identification

Hey guys, how do you identify wether an AU ute has the VCT engine or not if you are buying privately? is it just 2002 model's? or the super cabs? Without having to visually go and check out the ute.

Some Fairmonts had them too, but in this case, the utes didn't have them at all. (AFAIK)

Got the Ellery manual here Brett, sorry to steal your thunder. Codes are:
  • 4.0 / OHC SEFI... H
  • 4.0 / I6 HP... X
  • 4.0 / I6 VCT... Y
  • 4.0 / I6 LPG... S
  • 5.0 / V8... Z

BTW hanging out for that "Code R" mod...
