Default FFAU mentioned in Herald Sun

Was just reading the paper this morning and came across an article “Big Car Tease on I.T” by Gavin McGrath. The article mentions the rivalry between FordForums and Holden forums. Good to see FFAU getting a mention in the news paper.

For there to be rivalry there has to be some form of equality, and there is none. FFAU is far better than any Holden forum. :

True, but there is plenty of rivalry amongst the respective products.

Coolies! And how long have we been here? That's incredible, considering only a year ago this site didn't even exist!

All in all it isn't bad. I always fear that the media try to sensationalise things for the hell of it but Gavin seems pretty level headed ...
Here is a scan of it:

I like the bit about Fords being high tech but having lesss power, how about telling the truth, Fords have more of everything, power and weight.

I already made mention of that over on LS1.com.au :
Other than that it's not too bad.. I wonder if we get a large member increase as a result ?

It's good to get a mention but most of the article was about Holden, even that little dig at the end!.

hehe that would have been a disaster if the au was left off. i couldn't stand thinking the old ff was getting the credit.

its interesting to read how ls1.com.au came about. I didn't know they branched off the american site. kind of like how this forum was started.

And the annual dinner - fwoa, nothing like a true FordForums Raid which is gonna be overdue real soon isn't it? When's Ford bringing out a big ticket launch again?

Has LS1 done a Raid on Elizabeth????
