How many will DOD provide daily benefits to that simply use their cars in a urban situation? A nice thing to have on top of other measures...but I dont think power reduction is one of them!!!
PS God bless the Hemi

A saving of 1 litre per 100km only under certain consitions. Dig deal. And lower power too. Is this one of the most useless technologies ever created?
Holdens new slogan should be Holden- Make it look like you're going green when you really aren't doing anything at all. or maybe Holden- Talking green while doing nothing. They have talked about going E85 compatible but what good is that when there are maybe 5 E85 pumps in the whole of Australia. Then they said they will have a Hybrid Commodore on sale in 2 years, which will be before the Volt, yet it hasn't even started yet. They keep saying they are going to do things when they have done nothing except cut power and torque to save a thimble full of fuel every tankful. Then they plan on putting eco line badges on them to show everyone how green they are. Typical Holden smoke and mirrors. ![]() |

I'm still not convinced DOD provides a genuine benefit in real world conditions based on the cars that are available with it so far.
