No, it's not a re-post. It was just announced.
I wonder if this will continue to happen in the performance industry.

This is all consumer driven, if you want to help stop it go out and buy that hot motor or performance part. Everyone clutching at their wallets scared of what "might" happen is what is a good deal of whats causing this.

According to The Motor Report website, this is FALSE.
http://www.themotorreport.com.au/211...osing-up-shop/ TMR put in a call to Crane Technologies Australia this morning to get some word on this story. “It’s rubbish. The company’s been bought out, and the offices and factory have closed down for a week or so while they finalise the changeover,” said a spokesman for the company. Whatever the case may be, there’s either some serious miscommunication and poor management going on, or someone’s telling curly ones and the rest of the internet is latching on.

A guy at another message board who also has a business selling Crane products posted this.....
They are indeed closed. Their bank shut them down last Friday. I spoke with our rep yesterday and he is out of a job for now with a uncashed pay check that will not clear. Crane already has paychecks that will not clear. Steve

Fingers crossed.
Hopefully they scale down and get back on their feet, for the sake of workers and a great company.

hm I just recently purchased a timing chain/sprockets for a 250 xflow they bear "crane cams" on the packaging - its brand new so there is some stock floating around if anybody wants their gear I would think. My brother got a crane cam for his 250xflow that cam was incredible! pity it and him parted company now.
