Default ST pics (including 5 door)

Found these whilst looking for info regarding the ST.

Ford NZ has said they wont be bringing it in, although I'm sure that will change.... we were never going to get the ST220 Mondeo, but we did.

I'm liking the 3 door over the 5 door, great colour too.

Orange is the go.

Blue looks a little tame to me for some reason on the MkII. I loved it on the MarkI ST, but the orange is damn hot

Performance if line-ball with the S40 Turbo should crack sub-7 second 0-100km/h.

I'm still curious as to how it's going to get all of that power down effectively. The Volvo overhwelms the front tyres quite easily.

That ST badge on the front guard is a bit naff. The rest looks very nice, especially in more normal looking blue

Don't like that front ST badge at all.

Is that interior all plastic ?

I was looking at a new focus the other day whilst waiting at fords and was immediately put off by the all hard plastic interior for the door trims and the like, from those pics the ST looks quite the same.

Was a bit dissapointed at the insides of the new focus, looks a bit cheap IMO

I had a look last weekend at the "New Focus" and I thouht the same, its that hard plastic, I much prefer the softer feel of my Mk1 interior.

Hate the Mark 1 interior, I love the new one, I dont reckon its hard plastic at all. I reckon it its like the soft touch, dog nose patterned stuff that coats the BA falcon dash.

It also looks like a cross between the Fiesta and BA falcon dash, much more modern, classy, and brings the look of the dash up there with Other german marques. Its a winner all round the new Focus.
