There will always be a place for the V8 on Australian and American roads....because there will always be that sector of the market place that buys them.....
The bread and butter of GMH in this country though would seem to be the smaller car, (While still having a HSV department for V8s. The Sales oportunity is always there in the V8 market place for FPV and HSV, because when it comes to the Crunch...Ford has already been testing a V 10 LPG gas Engine in the states that was putting out 300 hp..... From memory I think it was for a BUS....so cheaper fuel sources are there for the V8s within the current Petro Chemical industry. World Class Small car looks like the way to go for your Bread and Butter..... plus a HSV department for the local Australian buyers. Cheers all |
