Default Queensland Made

No QLD-bashing here please.

So i like buying Queensland Made. I try to support QLD auto suppliers. On my falcon, i run:

QFM (Queensland Friction Material) Brake Pads, front and back
Queensland Ignition Leads
Comet Battery

Are there any other quality Queensland brands that I can add when the time comes?

TIA
Mr Hardware

You need to sell your AU and buy on of those QLD assembled Fairlane's if you want to be a true Banana Bender.

Would be pretty hard to use QLD parts only, that arent exactly an Industrial powerhouse. I have enough problems just getting Australian parts, mind parts from a specific state. I was surprised get an idler pulley from Wagga Wagga for my BA recently. My Kingswood has been infected, she was a Pagewood Sydney assembly originally, now it has been infected by those AFL playing foreigners.

ACL Gaskets come from Brisbane by the way, and King Springs from the Gold Coast.

Great thread,

Especially after all this GFC business started, even in supermarkets, I thought how great it would be if the shelves with Australian MADE products have a little Aussie flag on them.

I dont know about others, but I always try to buy Aussie made, but it isnt alway easy to identify stuff when you're browsing. Aussie flag on the shelf I'd grab Aussie first everytime. Jobs for our country, for my family and friends.

S.A. is a fine place, but I love this country.

Sorry its a distraction to your thread but I reckon you're right, people need to get right behind US.

And of course the most important thing, BUNDABERG RUM.....

We also have a thrashing factory here which makes custom designed football results that we give to NSW state of origin teams.

And of course the banana bending facility used to prepare produce for export to Sydney as they seem to not like anything that is straight.

Thought the POMS brought Bundy Rum Company about 7 years ago
I could be wrong, but was a huge drinker of the product before giving up the smokes and was sure that they took it over.
Or maybe it was a drunken dream hahaha
No checked Wikipedia ( bundaberg rum owners ) and yep they do own it but still made in so called Gods own state
