Question What would win, off the line and overall

I have a stock EL Gli 4speed Auto, and my mates got a stock XF Falcon 3speed Auto. Which would have more overall power? and would i beat him off the line??

Thanks Paul

um.......hopefully you'd cream him.

unless your car is on bricks with no wheels attached....

then he might have a chance

if you dont beat him, you have a problem. the XF can pull some punch but i doubt it would be a match to the EL.
i dragged a mate in his XF ghia with my AU (AU versus EL was too close to call) and he kept up for about 10 meters before i drove away from him.

Well my mate kept up with my 4spd EA Ghia in his XF Fairmont........Only because the EA had a stuffed throttle cable and was changing gears at 3000rpm with my foot flat! lol :P

It would take a few mods for the XF to be anywhere near I'd say, and if it's auto with the stock diff, well, they have no hope without some major mods.

You could pile 5 guys into the EL and it would still eat the XF.

Cat back exhaust would be the first thing. About $200-250 depending where you go.

Dude, If he's not knowledgable enough to know that a EL wil beat a 3 speed XF, I doubt that he'd understand what you have just written up there..... :ticking:
