i just called Ford to price coil packs. now that im back from the cardio unit, where is the best place to buy them? i found theses on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/IGNITION-COIL...n%3D3%26ps%3D6 but not to sure as they seem to cheap.

Also check out www.rockauto.com
Search their catalogue with the original ford part number. there are a number of options including Motorcraft ones. 5 lt 302 Windsor motors were used in 1996 -2000 ford explorers |

Yep, MSD 8241 are the right part. they retail here for anywhere between $120-150ea so with the AUD so strong against the USD atm those prices in the above links are great.

i got in contact with the guy from e-bay in the link i posted. he said if i was uncertain about the qauilty he would give me a 6 month money back warranty. so now im not sure which way to go. $140.00 for 2 or $286.00 for the MSD
