just a quick one to try and find out what cam is the best for a falcon 1989 ea 4 spd auto hoping to have it done before melb cruise

The new grind from Wade seems to be producing some good results, the 1636.

Sorry to hijack threads, but after you put a cam in is there anything else to do, i mean can u just take off the rocket cover and other bits drop it in and put it all back together? Also what is the avg price of a decent cam?

add shims if required.
drop in cam dial in (if fitting a vernier gear) cam costs anywhere from $120 + changeover upto $400 depending on brand etc. *Really* research your cam selection before purchasing.

these cams need a chip to run too so dont forget about that

the 1521a needs a high stall converter and performance springs as well

*dig* Thought I'd bring up an old thread rather than making *another* copy of the same thing.
I've just found out the 1636 isn't suitable for my engine, damnit! ('cause it's one of those la-di-dah AU/EL hybrid jobs) What else can you guys recommend in the way of cams?
