Default Mondeo Zetec Stereo Removal

Hey,
I just bought an 09 Ford Mondeo Zetec and I plan on putting a Sub and Amp into the boot. To do this I need to take out the stereo and I'm not sure how.
If anyone could give some suggestions it would be a big help.

Thanks,
Chris

LRSedan's post is excellent.
I did it on the weekend - took about 30 minutes or so but I was working slow as not to break any clips.

Someone feel free to correct me, but the Sony 6 stack uses the ICAN bus. From my understanding the inputs are digital (apart from Power). By inputs, I am talking about the steering wheel controls and the like.

Obviously, the outputs to the speakers would be analogue.

The unit doesn't have RCAs, so you will need to use the speaker inputs on your amp.
