Hi,
Have put a deposit on an AU3 6 Cylinder Engine, wondering how I tell if it is VCT or non VCT does it say VCT on the rocker cover if it is a VCT engine? these are the part numbers from the block, head... and somewhere else; timing cover perhaps? WR2A-6090-AC WR2A-6059-AA WR2A-6015-AB if that helps at all..

it shouldnt come down to checking numbers, there is a huge mechanism on the front of the head, notched into the rocker cover..You simply cannot miss it :0)

See it sitting right at the front, a HP or standard rocker cover won't fit so it should like the picture have VCT plastered across the rocker cover

Ah cool I wasn't 100% sure I thought by AU3 they might have been standard VCT across the whole range or something

What are you going to put the VCT motor into? Are you getting the ECU and loom too?
