Default AU S1 bodykit?

Hey guys, im looking for a body kit for my AU Falcon 'classic' 99.
After looking through ebay some sellers say the TS50 wont fit series 1.

I have found on ebay a kit 'BF GT' from phat custom kits that i have seen on another users build thread.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....:X:AAQ:AU:1123

However he slammed them after taking his kit off to find very dodgy work done on it. With cracks and just dodgy workmanship all round.

So leaves me back at square one. Does anyone know of kits that will fit the S1, or better still, point me to perhaps someone selling a kit.

thanks, rob.

Here is a pic of me car anyway:

2.5" cat back no rear muffler
20" advanti rims
altezza shadow chrome tail lights
sound system (2 amps powering.)
sound deadner in boot
lowered on king springs SL
Lukey air filter
Xr snorkel
red painted break calibers
purple neon's in the foot wells

*bought 6x 72cm green LED strips for outside off ebay.. still coming
*looking at a 13" roof mount tv off ebay

*body kit?
*possibly extractors and high flow cat
(mod bug has me yes, however being a poor uni student creates conflict)

Yes, it will fit a series 1, but only if you get the series 2 bonnet (or series 1 fairmont ponnet - same thing).

AWC make a T3 lower bar to suit the series 1s:

http://www.awcinfo.com/secureshop/ca...php?cat_id=224 (3rd from top)

With the SVO grille, I reckon it would look pretty good:

http://www.spoilershop.com.au/store/...&productId=665 (A mob on ebay sells them for a fair bit cheaper than that, unpainted)

Skirts off any SWB AU sedan will fit. T series one are chunky, XR ones a little more subdued, and then there's the SR ones as well.

Ok thanks, the grill does look good, compared with the one that comes with the 'classic' model :S
what are your thoughts about that ebay kit i posted??

Found the hawk kit on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-HAWK-STY...item2c4ed274ee

inc grill. Im tempted to swing to the first one as it is cheaper.. wasnt looking to spend much more then 1k. Ill hit up the panel beaters and see what they would charge for fit/paint.

The phat customs kit looks good, but haven't heard any good reports about their work. AWC are generally pretty good though.

The hawk grill is a good one (same as the SVO grille) but the hawk bar is ordinary - it's actually a copy of a celica body kit.

I had a front bar painted a few years ago for $300 odd and helped the guy fit it - only took 30 mins to fit.

Yea the hawk bar seems to have a little to much "stuff" going on.
Ill get some quotes for fit/painting.
One local bloke is a family friend so might be the way to go.

off topic.. bought a purple interior light today off ebay.. thought it'd match the neons inside.

Could be worth my while to keep scanning ebay for the individual parts that come up, rather then buying just a full kit.
Anyway some quotes before i decide whether to purchase one or not.
