I'll have a look at the JBR/Djr truck this weekend for the stickers.

Acually I THINK I could be the little boy in his Auto biograpy, the he mentions that said "Dick Johnson, I love you!". Im pretty bloody sure of it. It was at the Gatton or Laidley show when I was VERY young. ( 20+ years ago) I still remember seeing him step out of the trailer that day while I was holding my mums hand. I'll have to ask my dad....

Personally I've never had the pleasure to meet him. Hopefully one day.

From all the stories I've heard about him he seems like a really nice guy. Like Brocky.

I've always had alot of respect for DJ, and DJR. I have models of his Tru Blu XD, and Greens Tuf XE.

I've bumped into him a few times at the races and he has been nothing but the most gracious of ambassadors for Ford, DJR and himself, ever single time,
Even when i've enjoyed way to much corporate hospitality and deserve to be blown off. Always there for his fans.

By contrast my work chose to tip sponsorship into the Kelly Bros. Which I, well my dept., got the bill for, I'm yet to meet them, there minders kept us well at bay. Oddly we didn't renew.

I can say that this year the FPR boys - we are on their rear wing, are warm and friendly to us and our customers. Go, FPR!!.

Back to the topic, DJ is a legend and a hero of mine always will be.

Got DJs auto biography
Good read
Good to see he got where he did by hard work, and wasnt a glorified driver with major capital backing
I have great respect for hands on people, rather than just drivers

literally yesterday (saturday) at the island while everybody of note (drivers and the like) were nowhere to be found there was Dick Johnston walking around in the back pit area amongst the fans that had pit passes saying hello to everybody who greeted him, and signing anything that people asked him to! I stood back watching him make his way around the back of pit area, he noticed me watching him I am sure and gave me a friendly nod. He really seems to be an excellent genuine person, and I wish his team total success
