just woundering if an auto xr6 ecu will be any benifit over my auto standard ef one and will it matter if its an el xr6 ecu

they have better idle and better air/fuel ratios i beilive

No it won't work. The EL has a distributor ignition system, and the EF has a coil pack.

i noticed a def improvement in mine with an EF XR ECU over the stock ECU - gave me my idle back, better response with the more aggressive shift points - so def worth it if you've got a few mods! ;)

Youv'e seen the ECU on ebay right?
It won't fit anything except for EL which runs a distributor not a coilpack. if you can get an EF XR6 ECU then its worthwhile if you don't pay too much. You could of course get a Chiptorque for $600 too brand new and its custom programmable. |
