Default 95-96 XR Door Skins into a 94 Falcon GLI

I assume some 95-96 XR Door skins will fit my 94 EF Falcon GLi yeah?

Any help would be great before I blow my cash. Cheers :Reverend:

Your correct...just looking at the pics they have holes in the back skins but the fronts dont have anything so a hole will have to be made.

Has anyone done a electric window conversion before? I would only bother doing the fronts cause if I put these skins in its going to look weird where the automatic window buttons are as well as window winders haha

there are no buttons on the front door trims, they're on the centre console, i've done power windows in my car, its not very hard.
fordmods.com has a doco on how to do it and what you need.

to use the XR door trims you need power windows, you can't use the winder because it hits the arm rest.

Ahh ok, so meaning I would have to change my centre console as well to accomodate the buttons for the electric windows yeah?

Any ideas on how much the kit for electric windows would cost?

The centre part of the console where the cupholders are unscrews, and the power window control panel screws back in there.

Umm, the cupholders are still there, you just replace the panel in front of them.

Besides, they suck for holding anything, unless you want it tipped all over your carpet, and beer doesn't look good on carpet :P

i like his priorities... ofcourse they're only there when then unopened correct ;)

what you need is:
centre console switches.
2 x power window motors
wiring loom (self made or from futura/XR)
also need a few small things to actually allow the XR door trims to bolt on.
from a wrecker you'd be looking at about $150-$200 for those parts at a guess.

Yeah I thought be around 200. Mite give Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage a call, I am pretty sure they have some XR's there I can grab the parts from.
