update....

This morning i got the posties rego number..
Rang australia post and gave them the rego number, they finished off there report.. and now its been looked into by there investigators, and put through their transport insurance side of things..
i rang the police assistance line, and they told me that i have to go in to a police station and make a report.. so i went back to that police station and told them that i spoke to police assistance and they told me i had to come in yadda yadda yadda..

ok so the hesitant cop, made a report, and is going to ring the post office and follow it up just to make sure something is being done.. and also the officer has seen the pictures of the scratches..

so i will get a call over the next few days to find out what is happening...
