even if you end up with 17's, you'd want to roll the guards.
superlows and 235 tyres are the problem, doesn't matter if they're 17" or 18" if they're 235's on them, u'd want to roll the guards

My 225s (ableit on 15s) can rub on the front guards if the wheel is on full lock... or the road angle is "not nice" for sharp low-speed turning.

Mmmm rolled guards... *cough* Greens Tuf *cough* (ok so they're not rolled, but they're still fat :P)

Depends on the wheels as well. A slight change in offset in manufactured wheels and it rubs. Genuine EL GTs should not have any issues whereas some aftermarket wheels, exactly the same width and diameter, may be closer to the guard ever so slightly.

Your blatant disrepect for the English language is terrible.
I Have 235/45/17 on my car, it is yet to be lowered tho. The fronts seem to stick out a bit more than the rears, when it is lowered it looks like it could be a close fit on full lock.

Sorry to highjack, Anyone got a picture of an ED with SSL(ultralow) King springs installed?, i don't know if the suspension is the same for EA-ED if so any model will do.
It will also be good if the car has 17" wheels on.

Ive got ssl's front and back with 17" 235 tyres and have had the gaurds rolled.
They still rub if the car is on a decent lock and on sloping ground

I repeat what everyone has said. my 235's have never hit. my 245's have never hit, ,my 255's won't hit. However with a whiteline front sway bar the tire does rub thesway bar at full lock

They are actually very slowly rolling the guards themselves!lol
but i put my hand under there and yeah you can feel it...im getting it pro done next mnth(funny thing is though...no apparent damage to the tyres
oh and the rear is lovely...ill be going 265's.this is all on s/lows obviously!

My 225s riped the guard out at times. Though it was way too low.
