Hi fellas the ABS light is on 24/7 on the AU1 but the ABS works fine, my mate told me yesterday that i didn't have any brake lights at all when he was on following me, but it's not globes as they do come on with the headlights on. I'm thinking brake light switch? Am I right? Don't really want to waste an auto lekkys time with this.

Could be the bulbs. The rear lights and brake lights, although share the same bulb, they are dual filament.
Test a known good bulb then check the brake light switch as suggested. |

Replaced both bulbs, still nothing..hopefully its the switch and not something more sinister. Cheers

Appears Brake lights have been covered.
Generally the ABS will light when a fault is detected in the ABS system. From past experience for me, this indicates that a sensor is mis-aligned (too far away) from the sensor ring on your axle/brake. The fact that you report ABS works may not be fully correct. Rear brakes have only approximately 20-30% of brake pressure applied to them as the front brakes take the majority of pressure. If your front brakes are working fine, a faulty rear ABS sensor on may not impact or be noticible in an emergency stop as that wheel may not lock. Back to my first point, if ABS light is on, do not rely on ABS to work. There is a fault. It the obvious checks do not yield any results, my advice would be to get it checked out by the auto sparky.
