coil overs

ok ive recently got myself a new fg gt and im looking at lowering it, but dont wanna wreck the ride or handling as i love how it handles.
so what im guessing is coil overs are the only way to go
but whats the best brands and what kind of prices am i looking at?

I can only go by my personal experience.... I have Pedder's coilovers on my soarer and I think they are brilliant, they can be as hard or a stiff as you like plus dampers are great at smoothing the bumps. Dailled out my understeer a lot too

coilovers arn't really the only option. You can make a nice setup with some lowered springs and a matching set of Bilstein or Koni dampers. Im not sure what the sway bars are like on the new GT's but if they can be ugraded you could do that aswell with the money you will probably save by not getting coilovers. In saying that, I have tein coilovers in my ba xr8 and couldn't be happier with them, I also have the in-car adjustable damping box. Still need to upgrade my swaybar though

yeh im not really what road to go down as in just do springs n shocks or coil overs i just want the best handling and be able to lower it abit

truthfully with the au$ so strong you should consider sourcing overseas , it means a huge saving , I bought the coilovers for my E36 bimmer from Belgium and saved 1/2 , well worth it

only problem with that is you'll struggle to find anything that will bolt up to a falcon since they aren't an international car
