My PS pump is noisy so I have purchased a rebuilt one and will be replacing it this weekend.
I did the rack not long ago which also included the high pressure line I am pretty sure. Are there any tips or tricks I need to know when replacing the pump or is it pretty straight forward? Any special tools etc needed? Thanks, Mark |

I guess we will just assume your talking about an AU 6 cylinder? You will find the fitting on the power steering line leaks when the new pump goes on. Need a new adaptor nut part no: BA 3F656 B..... $11.20
The old nut needs to be cut off (without damaging the line) and the new nut screwed into the pump, then the line clips in. Or you can buy a new power steering hose with a new nut attached. because you say the ps line is fairly new, you 'may' get away without doing anything, but the above advice is only if you put it back together and find it leaks.
