pull the engine fuse out for at least 5 mins, put it back in, start it but do not touch the accelerater as to it is configuring air fuel mixture. leave running for 5 mins. turn off then start up again, ecu will be reset

to reset it just remove the battery for 10 minures...no more no less.....let it idle for a few minutes then drive it as normal, it will relearn everything over the next few days...

I want to get rid of the rough idle that resulted from my bf egas backfiring. I see a different method of re setting the ecu on every note I check. some say an hour some have an formula of switches and loads after start up.
is there a method that is the standard. where doI find it? |
