Default overheating ef 11

just cruisin down freeway today and after about 15 minutes at a 100 k's the temp gauge slowly rose to high point of normal.the pointer hit the O,i pulled over and the top up tank was really gurgling as if air was in system,i put the heater on to try and see if it would make a difference but no change,the heater sometimes runs hot through the vent and sometimes runs cool air out,i changed the coolant last week,have i got a air lock problem or could it be something else,any help aprreciated bab.ps it is a series 2 ef fairmont with 120000 kliks on speedo

i aint sure what the temp gauge on the ef looks like but on me ed pointin to the 0 in normal is fine like goes up to that and down once it gets operating heat

ef2 hav the normal going from top to bottum, so O is pretty high temp. are u sure ur thermos are kicking in?

did you add the coolant the propper way..turn the .heater to full.... fill it up with the cap off and run the car for about 5 minutes......

top up as nessecary.....

this purges any air that might have been in the system...

I got told the other day to drain the radiator and start all over again it worked i drained it and took it out cleaned it out now i have no problems at all!!

i have fixed problem,put new radiator in today,temp now in loe part of normal
