well guys we quition is if i gte a 2.5inch pipe fitted fdorm the first muffler back wich is just 2.5 inch all the way no muffler will it make the car any lounder or sound better got quoted $75 so cheapoer then the whole system and will sound better till i have more cash i kn ow the preformance will be the same so yer thx guys

yeh it will be louder. if the car has all the original exhaust system i dont know how loud though. im not sure how the first muffler effects the system. i'd say you'd get a few more kw on the dyno but it would be bee's dick. best bet is to just get a cat back system with a free-er flowing muffler. should be pretty cheap. couple hundred for an off the shelf redback system. tack on another couple hundred if you want a hi flow cat as thats where most of the performance gains come from an aftermarket system.
