hello there a friend has a 99 au falcon forte i think and they need to replace the clock spring as the horn and cruise no longer works the indicators were playing up by flashing fast but we figured that one out but the other day after using a trailer (same trailer used on same car for years) now the indicators are not working at all the hazards are flashing just the indicators are not ive checked the fuse but thats not blown
im at a loss any help would be grateful cheers |

fixed was looking at the fuse box diagram upsidedown lol
had the trailer hooked up to my car 2 weeks ago and all was good cheers for the help |

not fixed
replaced fuse but 1 km down road it blew again |

Had the exact same problem when I had my ED Futura. Borrowed a plasterboard trailer from Bunnings to cart some timber home and ever since then I encountered the very same problem you are experiencing. Never did find out why it did it. I ended up trading it in for a EL Fairmont wagon.

found fault the wire assembly is in the boot (installers too lazy to attach underneath) a teenager had taken trailer off to push it down drive as friend couldnt reverse trailer (female) then the friend didnt double check the trailer before driving off (still female) and i think the cord was too short hanging out of boot and when cornering it found the weakspot the plug on the car and ya all bar 2 wires snapped (females and trailers dont go together) thanx for all the help cheers to all

cruise control fault was fixed after replacing the clock spring at a wasted cost of 330 to find no difference it was finally fixed by replacing the actual horn/airbag piece on steering wheel 40 from wreckers
