It should work in an EA. Many forum members have fitted the later climate control to EA/EB1s. The biggest difference (besides the black buttons) is the addition of an Ambient button. Even still, the EA has an ambient sensor. It just takes a bit more mucking around to get the EA to display the ambient temp. The Econ button has also been replaced with the A/C off button.

That one will not work in EA-EB2.. That being an ED Climate unit which for some strange reason is different. I have got an EB2 unit in my EA and it works fine.

why does everyone like climate control i hate it
it doesnt do anything different to normal aircon and to go from hot to cold it takes minutes pushing buttons when you could just pull the lever on the normal one
