So please enlighten us all with the very, very bad data you have on K&N Filters. Im more than open for discussion and will happily learn if Im wrong, but over the last few days I have seen nothing.
Can you read a UOA or can't you? I'm not going to hold your hand

Yes I can. And you have avoided my question yet again. Im only carrying this on so people don't start following your opinions on K&N filters, unless you can provide cold hard results that state otherwise.

But at this stage I would assume my opinion and testing is sound and there is nothing wrong with the filtration of a K&N filter and anyone who uses one not going to see engine failure caused by the K&N filters 'lack of filtration'.

Please move on from insulting members and provide data because at the moment you are only one out of thousands.

Use Google, find BITOG, read UOA's. Simple eh?

Looks like you've got a lot to prove, the only thing you've proven so far is that you can type on a keyboard. Hell you don't even own a Ford so why bother pushing your agenda?

Again and I will state my experience with K&N over the last 10 years.

- Pod filter on a mildly modified AUII Falcon ute, no issues and no dirt passed the filter but plenty in the airbox (used to live on a dirt road)

- Panel filter on a standard BAII Falcon XR6, no issues at all and mechanic was happy with the quality of used oil

- Panel filter on a standard NS Pajero TD, was thrashed and not looked after all that well, yet the filter worked great.

I was looking at getting one for the missus' Lancer but haven't had any luck as yet as the dealer only shakes out excess dirt from the paper filter, which to me means that it could potentially be impeding proper airflow to the engine and causing more issues than a K&N would.
