argh this all seems to complicated
4.5l concentrate nulon red, rest de-mineralised water, and done, if you have a clean overflow you get the jist of the mix by colour, i fill a 1l off coolant, 1l off de-mineralised water, have never flushed it, just replaced the radiator instead because it was leaking!

I don't believe it possible for coolant to be circulating through the motor for a year and for the two different colours not to mix but to stay separated, that's like mixing half of tin of green paint and half tin of red and not expecting them to change colour unless ones oil paint and the other water paint.
