Looking for some advice on wreckers in Vic. To remind you I am in the USA, and my shipper is in Lilydale.
It seems there are Ford wreckers and Commodore wreckers. I am in search of parts for both and wondered if anyone had good suggestions to any recyclers/wreckers that I can contact for parts. Examples would be for the back half of a 08 Commodore from the sailpanels aft. Similar with a Falcon Ute, Rear section of cab and a full factory tray. Mad scientist at work! Ken |

My thoughts are to check out Australian EBay. Many parts are from wreckers, and they are motivated to send stuff.
I've noticed that many Ford parts are usually in Victoria. Good luck. |

I was able to get on the Pickles Auction site, lots of good picks, full write offs etc. To much red tape for me to be on it though.

There's a couple of good ones here in QLD if you wanted to look north.
Wacol wreckers and All Ford Wreckers in Redcliffe are both very good.

Lilydale is a little way out of town so that may be why you aren't getting any suggestions yet. Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage is fairly close, although they mainly focus on the performance Falcons. Worth a try though?

Good ideas so far. I will venture out of VIC, by necessity if nothing else. Its just one more layer of shipping if you can imagine. I will check any suggestion out

Over the last few years a lot of wrecking yards in Victoria have closed down.
A mate closed his wreckers last year, because brand new after market parts are cheap today. May not be the best quality but can be picked up cheap. |

Oh believe me, I even had a few mates want to have a beer part to pull the driveline out of a BA Falcon for me just to keep it in trade for the work.
You get me on a beach, in Oz, chances are I will forget about cars! |

Site still works, I am shut out on any searches however being in the USA. Few interesting offers on EBay for Wrecking, contacted a few sellers but nothing heard back just yet.

I bought Just parts magazine for the first time in years looking for truck parts hidden among the car stuff, there seems to be a lot of commercial stuff in Vic. I haven't seen anywhere else advertised, you could look at the online version I guess.

I had a mate from Pampoolah send me a copy a few month ago of Just Parts. I keep an eye online on the website as well. Not to mention Gumtree and Trovit. Working a few sources on Ebay Au, will see.
