Default Up, Up and Away- Greenslip Prices

Well here we go again the price of CTP Greenslips for the NSW folk are going up again due to another MAA $20 charge. Just heard it on the radio, it will no doubt be on tonights news.

Ill get some linkage when i can.

I am not sure is the green slip cumplosory thrid party insurance or the inspection you guys need for rego down there.

Because in qld we have had a decrease in ctp insurence for our rego.

Greenslip is CTP, down here but unlike QLD, it has been deregulated and people are forced to go out and get themselves a Greenslip and Pink Slip (rego certificate) before they can re-register their cars.

Ahh Deregulation of the insurance industry

But its for the betterment of the country and it will bring down prices through competition, baaa.

Who said that anyway ?

We can choose between different insurance companies up here for it but the goverment controls the pricing and reviews it every year to make sure the companies are do ing the right thing.

Yeh i lived in QLD, i founf the system up there simpler and just plain cheaper. I pay $450 for CTP in NSW used to only pay $350 in QLD.
