I never been less excited about the release of a new Ford.
I suppose there is a market for these tiny SUV's but I just think the Ecosport lacks in the looks department for that category. "cuteness" without looking at the specs I would imagine it outperforms the others in economy?

Not bad for what it is I guess. Looks ok and drives well.
I seriously considered one when I was looking for a new daily driver, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I wonder if they rectified the stupid side hinged tailgate opening the wrong way for RHD vehicles! I'm guessing not since there is no photo showing an open rear end!

EcoSport is simply awful. Feels cheap, drives like a fridge and that stupid tailgate!
I've driven a CX3 and a HRV and my sister owns a Qahquai and I'd happily own any of these than an EcoSport. |

Yeah... Um pass thanks, think I'd rather have a focus with a screwed up tranny than that

US market ones don't have the spare on the rear door. Other markets too. Not sure why they persist with it here cause it does look stupid.

I had a Trend once as a loaner while my car was being serviced, and let's just say that it's very vanilla and uninspiring. I'd hate to think how much more vanilla an Ambiente would be.

Full size spares are a rarity these days. I reckon less than 10% would have them. Most have space savers.

I know, that's why its odd that this car needs one -or is there a space saver under that wheel cover?

probably can't even package a space saver in the boot. Maybe a repair kit?
