Hey guys silly question but, do I have to drill holes for that ED lip spolier to fit onto the boot?
Or can I just use tape or some adhesive, sounds like the lazy way out but the benefits of sticking on is more flexibility if I or the next owner want to remove it, no holes to worry about! Or can I get someone to fit it professionally? Only because I'm a bit challeneged in that department and prone to effin it badly if I try fitting it myself. But who do I call to fit one of those bad boys!?

Well the standard XR* lip spoliers have bolts built into the rubber, so you can either drill holes on your bootlid or grind them off and use double sided tape/urethane

that urethane ИИИИ can be pretty hard to get off if its been there a long time...
You know the plastic windshield things they had on the drivers side door? I had to sand that adhesive stuff back. Personally I think in the long run it'd be easier to drill the holes and have to bog them up and paint later...

i'd agree, urethane rips off paint if its been there a while. my 4.0i badge on the quarter panel was stuck on with that **** and ripped off all the paint!! bolt it on.

na screw putting hole's in to it
if you'r wurry'd aboout re painting you'r going to have to re spray it any way wen u go to Bog the hole's up so just go the urethane pluse u'll need some sort of seal so u dont have water getting in and russting any thing out p.s i wouldent b boging the hole's neather i'd b taking them up:S |
