Hi, Does anybody know if an FG ute lid will fit on an AU-BF tub. I found a nice twin hump FG lid with sports bars and thought it would look awesome on my AU ute but not sure if it will fit. The top lip on the FG looks to be the same shape as the AU but don't know if it is actually the same dimensions?

I've seen an FG tub on an AU ute. But I dont know what is required for it to fit. It may be an almost straight swap, or it may require a lot of reworking. But its possible.

Currently I've got the black vinyl hard lid and I'm not sure where to try peal the vinyl off and respray or just buy new hard lid. Obviously is cheaper to work with what I've got though it's not as streamline fit as the one in above pic. Hmmm - decisions ?? What do you guys think ??

I don't know what your budget is but by the time you stripped vinyl off and prepped surface for paint and then painted it might actually be cheaper to get a new one
The one in the pic is from site sponsor Flat Top give them a call for a price |

Scored a hard lid with hump for my BA for next to nothing.... It is in great condition but it did not have the struts with it. I know I just buy some off ebay to suit....but would rather use something from the selection of spares out in the shed.
Can someone measure their struts on factory hard lid and let me know what the extended strut measures...and what the black housing measures (should give me an idea of the closed length). Thanks |

Hi. As far as I know the size is the same. the difference is across the front edge of the tub on the fg is lower (or the sides and tailgate are higher) because of the way the soft tarp attaches to the tub. Cheers MD

Yeah I’m looking for a lid for my BF, hoping I can pick up a lid with the large center bulge in Nitro
