i took my fairmont out stock standard 94 ed, 17.3@122.3kph then added a crow 825 cam XR6 ecu with chip torque chip and new acc cable ( wasn't opening to full throttle) then hit the strip, and did a 17.3 @ 134.8kph with wheel spin off the line and wheel spin in 2nd, running standard diff, auto, and manifolds, also the car hasn't been on the dyno but still i am extremly disappointed i think i should of been in the 16's AT LEAST

134kmh = 84ish mph, so your definatly making more power than you were before, but a deal less than mine (90.4mph)

Still with such a big increase in Mph, you should have droped into the 16's with ease!

i think Ash ran his 15.8 @ 85. That's a V8 though. All these numbers!! lol

That seems to be an awesome time for a fairly stock fairmont Dan, Well done.

there is another smaller fence 3m back from that one to stop people getting to that tall fence. The high fence is just to stop car parts from reaching the crowd. The closer that fence is the safer it is. You cant get cloers than 3m to that fence.

Also looks like if you loop out doing a burnout, your rear quarter would love you!

yeah if u did spin during a burnout it would hit the wall.

The closer the wall the safer the crash

It was used as a NASCAR/AUSCAR circut for donkeys years as well.

TEST'N'TUNE FRIDAY 25th Feb AIR

$50.00 Test

$10.00 Spectator

GATES OPEN

4p.m.

Well? I wouldn't mind doing some 'testing' of burnout techniques plus I want a 13.7 bad. Anyone know if this is open to street cars? If it is I am there for sure.

I wont be out at AIR till I get some more work done looking for (95mph). So infact I may not get out again before Heathcote. This Friday is for 4/6/rotor entrants only unfortunately.

Also AIR are a bit rich asking for $50, I only got 4-5 runs in. What do places like WSID, Calder, Heathcote etc ask for??

Mabey AIR isnt that bad afterall. I was sharing a helmit so that didnt help.
Next meet ill be 110% prepaired and will try to get 10+runs in. Which makes it $5 a run, which is acceptable i suppose.
