A lack of turbo!

I would have loved to buy that car, but I have nowhere to store it, and my finances would have been spread too thin trying to keep two turbo EB's insured and running!

hey mate hows the navy treating ya?

I'll write the list down. I was expecting him to say it was too low cause he had to get out a little jack to get the car on his hoist !!!! he would have passed the turbo if I took the intercooler out and had an airbox instead of the pod!!!!! i'd have a fun time getting past vic roads though... I thought i'd just make it n/a soon as I am replacing the bottom end anyways.

Aim headlamps
washers not working
dash switch to be secure.... didnt fix it up when wiring interior lights
front lights to be white
pedal pads to be rubber
horn to be working
front bumper missing....... took it off to be repaired
lower ball joints
oil leaks at engine and trans
all discs to be replaced
rear springs to low
emission control to be effective........ lack of turbo

just about everything can be easily fixed or swapped from my eb 5spd so its really not slowing me down, but work is :

I bought a late model el motor for it out of a nl fairlane with 70,000k's on it apparently from ozwreck!!!! isnt driveable yet and I need to take the auto back out because we forgot to replace the dud seal :.... if I dont get time before I want the rwc I'll just run silicone around the inspection plate and get rid of it afterwards.

Ya recon I should?? I've been told its buggar all movement by a couple of people but while its off I might as well give it a shot !!! how bad do you consider it to be?? my mates got a lot of the turbo gear atm because his copying everything to turbo his XE with an eb motor in it, gives me something to compete against !!!!!

I'll take a picture of the 6th cylinder off your old motor for you later I think its rather amusing!!!

do you know what type of walbro fuel pump its running? el motors running little rich we are using the fuel reg off the old motor but without the rising reg connected to it!!! will try a different reg in it on friday!!!!

I bought the rims. Put them on a couple of weeks ago and they look awesome! There is still a problem I found with it, for some reason after I put them on my front right guard seems to be below the tyre, but the left one is fine. Here are some pics.

hahaha TQE plates. Nice! Mate check that your springs are seated properly, it deffinately looks lower on the drivers side. Mybe the tickford badge weighs it down and the 4.0 badge raises it. :P Oh and dump the rear another inch and it will look mint.

The rear could come down another two inches I reckon. It's looking good, they're very nice rims.

Obriza - your car looks hot as man! I love it! Don't stress about your ride height either, unless you get it on a 4 post wheel-alignment hoist and it is still noticably wonky. Your car is parked on grass in what looks like your front yard - the yard would be nowhere near level, hence why your ride height looks a bit off.

The car looks tough get a big polished cooler hanging out the front, and a turbo to match...
