i've never seen different rockers for the OHC engine.

early e seriers had 2:1 ratio where as the EL -AU have a rocker ratio of 1.8:1.

Only EL "hybrid" motors have tha 1.8:1 ratio rack. These cam in in early 98 iirc. I have a 97 EL and it's definatly 2:1

don't you mean pessamists?

No one disputes dyno readings from dynos that have PROVEN to be accurate day in day out. Its just dodgey backyard hillbillies that get called into question.

What would be the expected cost of a N/A 150 motor and what is the cost of a N/A 200. I didn't think a 200N/A would be very streetable though.

Starting with a stock EF/EL manual, 150rwkw should be doable for say $3000

The expected cost of a N/A 6 putting out a genuine 150rwkw is about $6500-$7000 and for 200rwkw easy $9500. I'm taking into consideration a full engine rebuild + installation of aftermarket ECU and tuning.

Oh these costs are all labour done by the owner. Including all head porting, engine assembly, ECU tuning etc.

for starters mate there is no such thing as an acurate dyno everyone has seen them change from run to run...
and second you would have to be quite a ***** if someone scraped in a 200.1rwkws an then told them it was a crap dyno so it didnt count.

If its done by the right people 180rwkws is achievable i would say

$9500 grand at least for getting over 170rwkw. Even if you did most of the work yourself. Things like installing an aftermarket ECU like a Wolf you wouldn't do yourself, and tuning it properly as well on a dyno. 180rwkws is not impossible, I'm eventually going to aim for at least 190, and try like hell to push it over 200rwkw. You just have to be creative
