Default S.A - workshops for engine swap?

Looking to drop in a barra early next year, I don't have the equipment, space or experience to even attempt this at home and I'm looking for a workshop that will do it.

I asked about this a looooong time ago in an AU conversion thread that I can't find anymore. Someone put me onto a place but I can't remember the name of it. They quoted me about $2000 supply+fit

Can anyone recommened someone for the job?

2k supply and fit is pretty good. Does this include an aftermarket ECU to run the new head/VVT?

APAP do stacks of conversions. Chances are they will do it no worries.

When i was looking at doing an Au motor in my ED All Pannels quoted me a price of which i cant remember right now but is was reasonable. But that wasnt using a bbm or thermos or serpantine belt so really it was just a second hand motor no real upgrade and they were having heaps of hassles with the air con on the one they were doing at the time. So make sure you look into exacty what your getting for your $$$$$$ if you go through them.

what the hell? really? thats the whole point of getting the AU motor besides the fact that its not as worn as the trusty ED motor.

what did you do in the end?
