Last service was 20 000km's ago.
I have just done... *Oil change and oil filter change *Air filter clean *Coolant and radiator flush. *Thermostat change/replaced seal and gasket on housing *Cylinder compression check *Checked airconditioner sight glass *Inspection of HT leads *Spark plug change *Fixed rocker cover gasket leak *Checked power steering fluid Is that all I need to do for a major service? |

In between major services, change the oil and filter at least every 5000-7000km and it will run forever!
Don't forget the fuel filter. Mike

It was actually 15 000km's sorry but yeah I got a ryco fuel filter but the gregory's guide says to change it every 40 000km's so I was gonna leave that till next service.
Also with the brakes my dad won't let me touch them, I have to go to a mechanic do get the brakes done. |

Also another thing, while this isn't usually part of a major service, when's the last time it had a transmission service? If it hasn't been a while, you should probably do that. My old auto did 220,000kms before it's first and only service, despite having the car serviced every 10,000 kms! No wonder why it was so sick!

transmission was serviced 20 000k's ago.
The brake pedal feels a bit low and not as responsive as our Nissan Patrols. Also the fluid was only topped up 50 000k's ago never says anything about a change. They inspected it all (lines, hoses, master cylinder etc) |

I don't believe they've ever changed it, just topped it up.
How much would it cost for a full brake service on average? It looks risky to do myself since the brakes are the most important part of the car |
