Default SS induction throttle body.. worth it?

Would it be worth buying an SS induction throttle body?

They claim it can give upto a 12kW gain at rear wheels when used in conjunction with it's air intake system (I have an XR6T Intake, which is good enough for me! I'm not paying $250 for something similar)

Does anyone have an SS Inductions Throttle Body? Ifso, did u notice anything?

Is that 12RWKW gain for an AU or BA? AFAIK they only do a full induction system for BA/BF, they just do a snorkel for the AU. I asked 3yrs ago about the TB & was told it made SFA difference to an AU but was worthwhile for a BA.

Damn you and your acronyms!! LoL

The 12RWkW is for an AU, for a BA it says only 8RWkW (for 6cyl) and 10RWkW for the 8's

Can only find the AU TB on Ebay, i have a feeling it may have been discontinued or something (not on the SS induction site or anything)

Hey bud, just noticed your planned mods in your sig. If you're going turbo/super, don't bother with the throttle body (I wouldn't bother anyway personally), or a cam.

They simply won't be required. If you're not sure on turbo/super, and just want some mods now, go the cam rather than throttle body for sure - they're proven and you'll get a measurable result.
