Howdy all.
Well i've got to replace the tyres currently on the ute, so i've been thinking about replacing the rims as well. My problem is that i have no idea what to do. I think i do, but what do people think. The options are: Leave the rims that i have on it and just get new tyres Or Option 1: BA Mk1 Typhoons Or Option 2: HP racing Fusion Shadows I'm leaning towards the fusions. So, any thoughts Cheers

Why on a tilt, see here
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11190432 and here. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...t=67413&page=2 Old news now. Just the most recent photo that i have of it. Not a fan of the dark agents. Plus if i end up getting either of these they will be 18's. I don't see the need for 19's or bigger when 18's will clear most big brake setups. As for heathcote, should be there, don't know if i'm racing or not yet. |

I think if you just gave your wheels a good wash they'd really improve the look of your flatbed truck

The rims on it are o.k.
If you must change them, option 1. |

Ive been looking at those HP-Speedy wheels for a while. Only thing is. My normal 17" Tickfords are a pain in the *** to clean. Imagine having to get in every nick and cranny on those bastards! And i use wheel sealant which is wheel wax. Bloody hell i would be there for hours. But most other rims on AU`s look . So i dunno

They look great for sure. Well done.
Unfortunatly now you just committed yourself to another few thousand dollars worth of mods. Lowering and BA brakes are now a must

Yes it was. Made my mind up pretty quick after opening this thread. It seams the Fusion's aren't as dark as what they look in the photo's. It's more a dull chrome than the shadow look i wanted.
Called up forum sponsor 'WHEELMAGS" yesterday arvo and went and got them later that day. They are 18's As for lowering, got a set of SL's (50mm lower) fronts sitting under my bed in my room. Just got to wait for a little money and find out what the hell my insurance is doing : |

As for going to bigger brakes and rotors.. I'd need 330mm rotors to even look half decent on mine. I'll let you have my old calipers when I get them. :

That low and it won't be going anywhere. No chance of getting in or out of the drive way.
Inspired by daniel. This is how i would like the ute to look like by years end. Cheers

That's about the height of mine at the moment ... so that would be Lows for an XR.
Something like this ... sorry for a bad pic.
