Hey guys, i was reading a thread a couple of weeks ago about one of the guys on here that took out the drivers side door handle and replaced it with a normal handle without the lock on it so it makes it harder for thieves to get in..was wondering where i would be able to find one and how much are they roughly?

Im guessing you would be able to get a drivers side rear door handle for a BA from FORD and use that but im not 100%

Rear door handle for an AU was $27 about 5 years ago and needed painting which I had a guy do for nothing, so I couldn't say what they are worth to paint..... You can save a bit by using the actual handle lifting mechanism from the existing door handle and just painting the new surround-type part but probably hardly worth it........
Honestly wouldn't take 1/2 hour to fit though. Makes the car look cleaner too IMO, something you'd hardly notice unless you were looking at the car with the wrong intentions.......
