Wow! Thats an awesome development. Seems to be a fairly decent power hike with it as well.

LPG "boosters" for diesel engines have been in development since the 70s/80s...

Yep - There are semi trailers in Aust that use this technology. Threy mount the tank on he back of the cab where I have seen it.
Bensons at Cardiff have fitted it to diesel utes are cars too.

I see their cars driving down Main North Road around the Smithfield/Elizabeth area some times.
Hmmm, take the LPG system out of the Falcon and shove it in the Peugeot... Doesn't sound like it's too difficult... KABOOOOM!

Seen this done to Powerstroke F-250's and the like.
Incredible torque boost.

All the newer buses here in Brisbane have the LNG/Diesel setup, likewise all the CityCats. They have 'Powered by Natural Gas' written on them. Been that way for a few years now.
Theres also several places that I know of around Brisbane, that do the LNG/LPG and Diesel conversion for trucks and such.

Have seen so many new Patrols and F-250s running around with them ... more torque ... better economy ... more range ... better emmisions.
It's a WIN WIN situation really.
