Default Intoduction from newby

G'day all, my name is Terry and and if I judge correctly by your lingo,(lol's etc), I'm an old fella .
I come from an era where cars did not have cat converters, abs, air-bags, p/s, ecu's, efi, etc, etc.
Never even had seat belts, can you imagine that? Even rode a treadly without a skid lid!
But guess what.....I'm still learning! Current car is Au2 Fairmont 6. It does not compare to my old V8's for grunt (Stag, Tr7, SD1 Vitesse, Sunbeam Tiger) but rides a lot better!
Guess most of you haven't even heard of those cars eh?
What I really want to is thank you all. I have picked up many good tips & suggestions re my falcon, but the best by far I got from a post by Lil Monty about LCD display units. His last post was 12 mths ago, so I guess he's moved on now. My display has been r/s for 3-4 years, thanks to his info it's fixed!
Ford wanted $700 for a replacement, reco-exchange here in hunter was $400....wife's iron, Lil Monty's
instructions & 2 beers later, we are back in business.
I sincerely thank you all, and remember, if it has tit's or wheels........................
