Default Help me decide...

ok, i need advice, i love the focus, dont own one yet but will soon hopefully, and i want the sedan, but i want the guts of the xr5, does anyone know if i can put that engine into the sedan, and would it only work with the six speed manual???

Not sure, interesting idea though... Have you considered the Mondeo XR5 :evil_laug ..... I know it is hatch only, but the difference in a sedan or hatch for the mondeo is negligible at the most! Plus theirs alot less fiddling around than modding a Focus sedan to that extent and personally I think the Mondeo looks better than the Focus sedan

If you want a hotter performing sedan, I think the XR5 engine is too hard.

Better off getting a bunch of Cosworth parts to modify the 2 litre engine in the sedans

Or add a Duratec turbo

Turbocharging the existing 2 litre would probably be your easier and cheaper option

thanks, just not sure as of yet, i spose it will have a lot to to with my budget, which wont be too constricting hopefully... and that pic, wow, thats what i want... a little car, that all the "fully sicks" wont expect to fly so i can shove it up their a***s! lol
