This is a project that we took on for ourselves as a "I wonder what if..." exercise. We had a 1996 XH Falcon ute and wondered just how much Ford had changed the actaul structual size and shape of the ute when producing the BF Falcon ute, it turns out that it hasn't changed all that much
After much measuring and calculated guestimating we started with the standard XH which we stripped down to its bare essentials including unpicking the radiator support and refitting the BF radiator support to accomadate the front bolt-on items (headlights & bumper). The fun began when customising guards and bonnet to have the rear end to align with XH and the front of panels needing to align with BF lights and bumper. The rear bumper was also discarged and we customised a BF Tornado rear bumper to fit. Just as we had planned, it all starting coming together and along with a colour change from white to black, the project is almost complete. Take a good look at all the photos we've posted to see if you can notice all the other modifications we have done. G&S Panel Beaters CLICK HERE

Lol, and to think the XH you started with came about the same way when some Ford engineering types had an old XF and a new EL laying around.
Nice work but is it still XH under the bonnet and guards or did you do a transplant there as well (engine, crossmembers, steering, suspension)

Nice piece of late model customising right there. The front guards would of been a biaatch to mate together let alone the bonnet. The end result is rather nice though.
