Go #2, the #1 seems too plain.

Sand back number 2, and spray them wheel silver. You lose the machined finish, but end up with the same finish as AU2 rims, and all for under $50!

Is the car running yet?

i was thinking of that JC, but i do like the machine finish on a Fairlane.

after 2years she fired first turn of the key and idlied like it had never not been running!! put new radiator in and she is off for the new tranny next week. the only thing i havent tried yet is switching her onto gas, but everything else still works like new so i can only hope.

thanks for asking.

Fair enough about the wheels, and amazing about the car starting! Good luck with both.

Oh - I'd go for wheel option 1.
