Extreamly nice, getting really jealous of these new GS machines.
Most exciting model for me since the MK1 GT's. |

Congrats Heath, looks great. We'd better not park close together or they might mate and produce a 7 cylinder. LOL

I read the manual then played around with settings on the stereo/car computer. Holy hell, never new the FG had so many options to toy with. Made the purchase even more worth while. : Pulled the trim apart to fit 2 way aerial, found the curtain air bag tucked away in roof lining, hope if it ever goes off the passengers don't get strangled by a coax cable. |

Out of curiosity, whats you average fuel consumption looking like and how have you been driving it for the first cpl of hundred kms?
What did the dealer say to you - with my G6ET they didnt have a policy or any advice for running it in. Other than drive it normal but dont kill it for the first cpl of thousand kms. |

I haven't used a full tank yet so not sure what the economy will be like. I have read and been told by many that they are quite heavy on fuel till they loosen up, the 8s more than 6s. I know people that have had theirs cars on race tracks with less than 500kms on the clock and had no trouble with them. As a general rule drive it as normal, give it a bit of stick every now and then, don't red line it to often and all should be sweet. Well that's what I'm doing. But most important especially with the turbo, change your oil regularly every 7500mks after the first 3000km change. Ford quote 15000k changes that is to far apart for turbos.
