little bit of encouragement is all i need, ill take some snapes and write down some numbers for you.
Is for the low series and has the hump I purchased It off the bay. Is going on my series 1 au ute which is red I will fit it all up then decide which colour im going with it. The clear is peeling on my stock bonnet so had to be sparyed and they are cheap'er on ebay at the moment so figure why not. the bulge is a nice touch after having a ba2 xr8 sedan previously.

After wanting a carbon bonnet but couldnt justify the small amount of weigh saving for the dollars Im toying with the idea of useing the method in this vid to get the same look on fibre glass.

i personally hate fibre glass have a few problems with it, but i actually prefer the metal bulge over the fibre glass, tends to crack easier

yeah full bonnet, i did look at the budlges separate when i was going to repaint my old bonnet and i think a metal copy welded to the stock skin would be the best bet. But a fair bit more work stripping paint then making everything smooth, plus welding panels isnt much fun.

Just get a spare bonnet. much easier, there cheap at the wreckers.

When i had my ts50 kit, i was planning on getting a bulge done on a spare bonnet of mine. Was gonna cost me 500 bucks, any size bulge i want, and it comes in primer ready to be painted

the whole fibreglass bonnet was around that price, and i would imagine a fair bit lighter then a stock bonnet with a scoop welded on, you have made me realise I made the right choice

That looks great...
I'm just saying, 8 out of 10 of the ones i see are lifting, cracking and warping...
I'd prefer to buy a complete bonnet personally...

How long has that been on TRIK67?

I'd say nearly 3 months ... was guaranteed that it wont crack or lift and was told if by any chance it did, it would be redone at no cost to me aslong as not my fault which i think is pretty fair.

Thats not bad then..
A mate of mine heard the same thing by an installer and when it did crack he was told by the installer that it will not be repaired as he probably shut the bonnet too hard...!!!

Who did it for you?

Just an update, i ordered and payed for the bonnet and postage 9 days ago. Still nothing. How long do people normally wait before trying to recoupe money though paypal?
If the AWC rep off this site could chime in maybe shed some light, or let us know if the fibresports rep on ebay is part of the same company that would be great.
Though the "defencive" customer service, and lack of comuciction im thinking that mabey I have sent my money to someone trading under the fibresports name.

Leave them feedback reflecting that. Since Adam (FalKeen) left, AWC has not been the same. Much better off going through Kurnell Kustoms (Adam).

yeah was though ebay, http://myworld.ebay.com.au/fibresportsautomotive/ that is the sellers link, its probley all good just hate trying to organise then reorgainse my self to suit when or when not I have to sign for it.
I guess after working in varies car dealerships , I have an understanding of what customer service is expected in todays automotive world. Something not all the aftermarket guys have cought up with yet.

well I had no idea he had left, i have read countless posts from him in regards to his au xr8 ute and when they where doing things for the site I liked his way and the the companys way of doing things and had no doubt that that would be the company when funds permitted where i would buy my bonnet.

when I saw that they where cheaper on ebay and where the same company, plus protection though paypal. I jumped at it.

Now I have my doubts about the quailty Im going to recive, if i do.

but thanks for the update, at least when our ford mate seach this they will know adam has left and not is all as it seems.
