Default !HELP URGENT SA - Central Locking

Hey,
My central locking just broke on my front passanger side door on my 1999 Ford Fairlane Ghia. I have taked the door trim off and and taken the actuator out and opened it up and the gear cog has snapped.. Has anyone got one for sale in SA? I need it ASAP.. either the cog or the whole actuator.

I need my car for work tomorrow!

Thanks,
Alan.

Well it's not urgent now.. just disconnected the actuator and it seems to still lock.. just took out the bar that connects the door to the door handle so no one can open that door. Just need to get a cog now.. or maybe a whole actuator if someone has one for sale in SA.

There seems to be two size gears available.. which one do I need?

I have a Ford Fairlane Ghia Series 1 - 1999

Large has:
Teeth: 41
Gear Outer Dia: 33mm
This Shaft Dia: 5.6mm
Overall Height: 53mm

Small has:
Teeth: 41
Gear Outer Dia: 32mm
This Shaft Dia: 5mm
Overall Height: 53mm

Order one from these guys and it'll be there overnight.

http://stores.ebay.com.au/STRUT-ACTU...2&_sc=1&_sop=1

No need to use ebay if you dont want to, just ring them..
